Keto Crab Rangoon Appetizer Balls with Bacon

I love Chinese food as much as the next person. I have a certain affinity towards those little fried nuggets of crabby goodness that we all know is fake crab mixed with cream cheese, and really it's just an excuse to eat fried cream cheese with sweet and sour sauce. But, there is something about those flavors of crab, with the cream cheese, soy sauce, green onion - all mixed up together that just creates magic.

These little appetizers give you all that bang for your buck - without all the crappy carbs.

What you'll need:

(1) 8 ounce block of cream cheese - softened
(1) can if crab meat - strained
1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
1 tsp coconut aminos (or soy sauce if you prefer)
1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
2 stalks green onion, finely chopped
1 Tbsp minced garlic
5 drops of liquid Lakanto sweetener (or 1 tbsp sweetener of choice)
15 slices of bacon

Mix all ingredients together in a bowl - scrape down into a ball - put in refrigerator to chill for an hour.

Cook 15 slices of bacon to crispy. Strain on a paper towel - and allow to cool completely. Once cooled - chop up into fine crumbs.

Once the Crab mixture is firm - roll into balls - and then roll into the bacon crumbs. Place back onto a plate - and put in the refrigerator until ready to serve. Makes approximately 24 balls.
